Consultation has concluded
The first phase, Summit Talks, set the foundation for Our Summit by hosting conversations with the community via one-on-one interviews, collecting responses to the online and mailer questionnaire, and hosting a series of kick off events throughout the County. This phase was all about hearing from the people that make up Summit County. We heard what you love about Summit County, what needs improvement, and what the community wants to see in the future.
Now that we heard from you, it is time to build upon the input from phase one and get to the root of community values that would compose the Vision. This second phase, Summit County Envisions, will gain constructive feedback from the community on potential elements of the Community Vision. This phase will create and confirm Our Summit Community Vision.
We will continue to ask for your input here on this website. Check in often to see new polls, maps, surveys, and more! You’ll also find some fun ways to get involved in person.

Throughout the visioning process, we have heard from community members across the County. There are strong themes that unite Summit County as a whole. There is also a desire to enhance individual community areas. The areas highlighted on the map below represent potential community areas for Summit County. These areas were identified based on community feedback and trends that have emerged thus far. It is clear that Summit County's growth should not be isolated to one area but rather the County should grow together at different scales and with different priorities for each community area. This questionnaire seeks to identify these priorities and how they should be addressed.
