4th & 5th Grade Questionnaire

The answers you give today will help to create what is called a Vision Plan for all of Summit County.   Just like how vision means we can see, a Vision Plan helps the community see into the future.  What do we want our community to be like in the future?  What are things you LOVE that you want to save and what are some things that could be even better?  

Here are some examples of things this plan could influence: the number and location of parks, trails, libraries, and other community centers; the way buildings look and where they can be built; the way people move in our community (cars, bikes, busses, trains, walking); the way your neighborhood connects to our larger community; the sustainability of our community (recycling, water use, waste disposal).  This plan is for the BIG PICTURE community – everyone in Summit County.  So when you give suggestions, you can think about what you really want, but also think about the thoughts and feelings of other students and adults around you.  

This is a big responsibility and awesome opportunity to make a difference in this community!
